What can I find in System Settings?

Updated this week

The Settings menu (the gear icon on the far-right of your navigation bar) is where you control every function and preferences for your PLEIO puck. Here is a breakdown of the key menus available.

Network & Internet

This section controls your device’s connection to the internet.

  • Connect to a New Network: If you move your PLEIO puck or change your router, this is where you go to reconnect. You can view all available Wi-Fi networks and enter the password for a new one.

Accounts and Profiles

This section manages user access and personal accounts.

  • Add Another Google Account: Allows you to link another Google profile to the puck. This is useful if different family members want separate accounts for accessing personalized YouTube content, Google Play purchases, or cloud game profiles.

  • Manage Existing Accounts: Here, you can sign out of accounts or adjust which services are linked to a specific profile.

Apps

This menu lets you control the software installed on your device.

  • Recently Opened Apps: See a list of all applications that have run recently. This is helpful if you need to manage a frozen app (by selecting Force Stop) or check which apps are using memory.

  • Adjust Permissions: Allows you to control what information an app can access (e.g., location or microphone access). It’s important to review permissions for security and privacy.
