Does Freely offer accessibility features?

Updated this week

Freely is committed to ensuring everyone can enjoy TV. The platform has a dedicated Accessible TV Guide and supports key features for sight and hearing needs. You can also enable certain accessibility aspects via Freely's mini guide or keys on your remote control.

Accessible TV Guide

This specialised guide is designed with high contrast for easy reading and simplifies navigation. It can be found on a dedicated channel number (check your Freely TV Guide for the exact number, often no. 555) where you can set your preferred viewing filters.

Once in the Accessible TV Guide, you can choose settings to:

  • Show only programmes with subtitles (S).

  • Show only programmes with audio description (AD).

  • Show only programmes with sign language (SL).
