PLEIO’s universal search function helps you find content from across multiple sources with just one search query. Instead of navigating through different apps, you can find exactly what you're looking for in one place.
How to Use Universal Search
Universal search can be initiated in two ways:
Manual Search: From the PLEIO Home screen, navigate to the Search icon in the top-left corner of the navigation bar. Use the on-screen keyboard to type in your query.
Voice Search: Select the microphone icon next to the search bar. Speak into your remote's microphone, and the TV will display your search results.
Your search results will be intelligently organised to help you find the content you want as quickly as possible. The results will be displayed in the following order:
On Freely: This is the primary result section. It displays shows and movies available on-demand from one of the core Freely catch-up players (such as BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, or 5).
On Streaming Apps: Content available via third-party subscription or free streaming apps that you have installed, such as Netflix, Prime Video, or Rakuten TV.
In Games: Any relevant titles from our cloud games catalogue of over 200 games will be featured here, ready to stream instantly.
Live on Freely: What is upcoming on the 100+ Freely channels later on in the week.
Now on TV: Any additional titles currently broadcasting live across the 140+ channels provided via the Channels+ section.
