If you have forgotten the 4-digit Parental Control PIN you set during the initial setup of your PLEIO puck, you will need to contact our support team to reset it.
The PIN is required to access any restricted content or make changes to your safety settings.
Step 1: Obtain a Unique Master PIN
Contact Support: Get in touch with our customer support team via chat or phone.
Request a Master PIN: Explain that you have forgotten your Parental Control PIN and require a Unique Master PIN for your PLEIO puck.
Validity: Our support team will provide a unique Master PIN that is valid only until the end of that day. You must use this code promptly to reset your PIN.
Step 2: Set Your New PIN
Once you have the temporary Master PIN, you can reset your code by following the below steps:
Navigate to the Settings on your PLEIO puck.
Go to Parental Controls. When prompted for your PIN, enter the Unique Master PIN provided by the support team.
Inside the Parental Controls menu, select the option: 'Set a new Parental Control PIN code.'
Enter the Unique Master PIN once more.
You will then be prompted to enter a new, memorable 4-digit PIN.
Confirm the new PIN once more.
Your new Parental Control PIN is now saved and active. Please store this new code safely.
