Now that you know what's in your box, lets set up your BetterTV, follow the steps below:

Plug the HDMI cable into your Better TV device and your TV.
Connect your aerial/satellite cable to the ‘Aerial’ port (if using Freeview/Live TV).
Connect to the internet – either with an Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi.
Plug in the power cable and turn on the box using your remote.
Make sure your TV is on the right HDMI input – you’ll see the welcome screen.

A 4-digit code will appear on your TV screen
Download the BetterTV mobile app from your App Store or Google Play and enter the code you see on the screen to link your device.
Now you are paired successfully. Sit back, relax and enjoy your BetterTV.
Did you skip registering?
No worries, it’s an easy fix. Simply download the Better TV mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and follow the on-screen steps to register and pair your box. If you’ve registered before, you can still re-pair your device through the app. Once paired, you’ll unlock all the features, including using your phone as a remote control.

You can connect your BetterTV device using WiFi or an ethernet cable, and switch between them when needed.
Setting up ethernet
Connect the ethernet cable to the back of your BetterTV device
Go to Settings > Network & Connection
Select Connect via Ethernet
Ethernet troubleshooting
Use the provided cable that came with your device for best results.
Check the connection. You should hear a click when the cable is properly inserted, and see a light on the ethernet port.
Still not working? Contact your broadband provider to check if there are any issues with your internet service.
