If you've decided to part ways with brsk, we appreciate the time you've spent with us, and we're sorry to see you go. It's important to highlight that the equipment installed in your home is an integral part of brsk's fibre network and remains our property, even after installation. The brsk equipment will therefore need to be returned to brsk.

Please note that the equipment installed in your home is an extension of brsk's fibre network and actually belongs to us even when we've installed it into your home.

The following equipment should be returned to brsk:

  • BetterNet Service:

    Brsk router - either the black Technicolor or white Icotera router

    Ethernet cable

    Router Power Cable

  • BetterPhone service: (if you opted for this service)

    RJ11 Adapter, if originally supplied by brsk

  • Better WiFi service: (if you opted for this service)

    Mesh device

    Power supply

    Cables

Instructions

Before returning your equipment, please take a photo of each device and its serial number. The serial numbers are located on the sticker on the underside of each device. This is to confirm the state of the equipment before sending it back to brsk.

The Brsk Line Box and Green Fibre Cable must remain in your home

Please note that the brsk Line Box and green fibre cable (shown below) are an extension of brsk’s fibre network and belong to us. The brsk Line Box in your home has a unique identifier linked to your address. It will not work at any other address so there is absolutely no need to remove it. We may charge you if the Line Box and green fibre cable are moved. Please leave them where they have been installed.

Fibre light is invisible but can damage your eyes if it’s looked at, and the equipment is not safely uninstalled.

If you are insistent on your Line Box being removed, please contact us to ensure safe removal.

Your power supply to the brsk Line Box should be turned off. To read more about this, visit this link.

How to package the brsk equipment

  1. Remove the bubble wrap sleeve from the package that brsk sent you.

  2. Place the router in the bubble wrap.

  3. If you had a BetterWiFi service, please also place the Mesh Device power supply and Mesh Devices on top of the router as indicated in the images that follow. If you have more than one Mesh Device, the other one should be packed next to the router.

  4. Now place all power supply cables next to the other devices in the bubble wrap.

  5. Once all brsk devices (as indicated in ‘Equipment to be returned’) have been placed in the box, fold flaps A and B over the equipment.

  6. Now fold C over flaps A and B.

  7. Continue to fold C over the front of the box so that it now looks like an envelope. Pull off the strip covering the self-adhesive tape and seal the box.

  8. Place the label on the front of the box.
