Home Move

Moving home with brsk? We've got you covered.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Let's guide you through everything you need to know about managing your broadband during a house move.

Moving into a home with existing brsk connection

Great news - no new installation needed!

If your new home already has brsk equipment installed, you can get connected immediately without waiting for an engineer visit.

What you need to do:

Step 1: Check the equipment Make sure the brsk equipment is still in the home and powered on. Look for:

  • The ONT box (Optical Network Terminal) - usually white/black box on the wall

  • Router (if left by previous resident)

Step 2: Get connected You have two easy options:

  • Scan the QR code on the ONT box and follow the setup steps

  • Visit our website, enter your address, choose your package, and activate instantly

Step 3: Start using your service Your brsk connection will be active immediately after completing your order.

Taking your brsk service to a new address

Check if we cover your new area

  • Use our online coverage checker to see if brsk is available at your new address.

  • We can only provide service where our network is installed.

If your new home is covered by brsk:

  1. Give us notice - Contact us at least one month before you move.

  2. Cancel your current service - Email cancellations@brsk.co.uk or call 0330 088 4796.

  3. Order for your new home - Place a new order via our website.

  4. Leave the fibre box equipment behind - The fibre box (Line box) equipment must stay with the property.

  5. Return your router - When your service is cancelled, you would have to return the brsk router - a new one will be dispatched to your new home.

If you're still in your minimum contract period, early cancellation fees may apply. Your new service will be treated as a fresh contract with current pricing.

What if brsk isn't available at my new address?

If we don't cover your new area yet:

  • You can cancel your brsk service without early cancellation fees (subject to giving proper notice)

  • Check our website regularly - we're expanding our network all the time

  • Consider our "notify me" service to hear when we reach your new area

  • We'll be sorry to see you go, but we understand!
