Connecting to your own router
You do not need a username or password [PPPoE login credentials] when connecting your router to our network. Most routers are set to 'automatic' or 'DHCP' by default, just plug the router and it will connect automatically.
Having trouble connecting to our network?
Give it time
After connecting your router, wait up to 10 minutes before trying anything else. Our system needs time to recognise your new router and disconnect from the old one. This waiting period happens every time you switch routers - it's completely normal.
Check your cables
Make sure the cable from our Line Box goes straight into your router's internet port (usually labeled "WAN" or "Internet"). Both ends should be pushed in firmly until you hear a click.
If internet is working but slow
Your router might not be fast enough for our service. Some routers are not built for fibre speeds and could slow everything down. Check if your router has a "Gigabit" port anywhere on the box or manual. If it only has a “Fast Ethernet” or “100 Mbps” port, it might not be able to keep up with your plan.
IPv6 not working
IPv6 is a new internet address system that allows limitless number of devices to connect to the internet. In your router's settings, check that "WAN" is configured to use SLAAC or it might appear as "auto" if you see that choice.
