Setting Up Your Router
Our engineers will set up your Brsk equipment during installation. However, if you ever need to do this yourself, follow the instructions below:
Technicolor Router (Black DGA0122)
Connect the Ethernet cable:
Plug one end into the “ETHERNET” port on the Line Box.
Plug the other end into the “WAN” port on the Technicolor router.
Power up the devices:
Plug in the power cables and switch on both the Line Box and the router.
Check the indicators:
The “green” data light on the Line Box and the Wireless, Internet, Broadband, and Status lights on the router indicate that your service is live.

You can connect to your router in two ways:
Connecting via WiFi
Option 1: Using a Password
Check the status light on your router. It should be green.
On your device, go to Settings > WiFi, search and select your network name (e.g. TNCAPXXX).
Enter the WiFi password/key ( you’ll find the network name and password on the sticker underneath your router - if you didn't change it)
Once connected, your device’s WiFi icon should turn a solid green.
Option 2: Using WPS
Enable WPS:
Briefly press the WPS button on the back of your router. The WPS LED will start blinking.
Connect Your Device:
Within two minutes, activate WPS on your device, either by pressing the WPS button on your router or .
On your device go to Settings > WiFi and select WPS
Wait for Connection: LED will briefly show one of the following
Solid green: Success! You'r connected.
Blinking red: connection failed. Try again or connect with password.
Connecting via Ethernet
You can connect compatible devices directly using an Ethernet cable (not provided).
For best performance, especially with devices like TVs, we recommend a CAT 6 Ethernet cable.
Plug one end of the cable into your device and the other end into one of the yellow LAN ports on your router.

Connect to the router via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Open a web browser and enter: http://192.168.1.1/.
Click Sign in at the top right and enter the login details found on the sticker underneath the router.
You can now proceed to make changes to your router’s settings.
Change your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password
Change your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password
Check that the sticker on the underside of your router for the model number. It should read something like ‘DGA0122’, once confirmed, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Log into Your Router
Connect to your Brsk Wi-Fi and open a browser.
Enter the router’s gateway address (usually 192.168.1.1) and log in.
Step 2: Update Wi-Fi Name & Password
Click ‘Wireless’ from the menu.
Change the SSID (Wi-Fi name) and Wireless Password fields to what you prefer . (SSID cannot exceed 32 characters and may consist of alphanumeric characters, spaces and special characters such as ` ! @ # $ & * _ + - = [ ] : “ | ?
Click ‘Save’ to apply changes and reconnect your device with new Wi-Fi details.
If you are unable to reconnect to your Wi-Fi on any of your devices after performing the above steps, you will need to reset your router to its default settings.

First confirm your router model by looking underneath your router for the sticker with model number DGA0122. Then follow these steps below:
Locate the reset button
The button is on the back of your router and labelled "Reset".Press and hold the reset button
Use a thin object like a paperclip or pen tip.
Keep the button pressed and observe the lights on the front of the router.
Watch the light sequence
As you hold the button:All lights will turn on
Then, some lights will turn off
All lights will start flashing
Release the button
Once the lights start flashing, let go of the reset button.Wait for the router to restart
This can take a few minutes.
Once the Broadband light turns green and the other lights stabilise, your router has been successfully reset.

Connect to your Home Phone
Connect to your Home Phone
Check your current phone setup - Unplug your phone form the wall and check your current set up, you may be using an RJ11 - BT-style cable (most homes have this cable) see the image below of the cable.
To connect your home phone to your Technicolor router: you'll need a cable with RJ11 connectors on both ends (as seen on image on the left) or use a BT-to-RJ11 adapter (image on the right) to connect your router.
Plug the RJ11 cable into one of the VoIP ports on the back of the Technicolor router (see image below) and the other to your Home phone.
