The PLEIO puck won't connect to Wi-Fi, what should I do?

Updated this week

If your PLEIO puck is having trouble connecting to your Wi-Fi network, here is a simple troubleshooting guide to get you back online.

1. Check your password

The most common issue is an incorrect password. Go to your Wi-Fi settings on the PLEIO puck and carefully re-enter your Wi-Fi password. Remember that passwords are case-sensitive.

2. Restart your router and modem

A power cycle can solve many connectivity issues.

  • Unplug the power from both your router and modem.

  • Wait for 30 seconds.

  • Plug your modem back in first and wait for it to fully restart.

  • Plug your router back in and wait for it to connect.

3. Restart your PLEIO puck.

While your network is resetting, restart your PLEIO puck by unplugging its power for 30 seconds. This will make sure it reconnects properly to the network.

4. Check other devices

Confirm that your Wi-Fi network is working by trying to connect to it with another device, such as a phone or laptop. If other devices also cannot connect, the problem is with your network, not the PLEIO puck.
