Before you dive into fixes, let’s make sure the basics are all set:
Check your broadband
Make sure your BetterNet fibre service is up and running. Visit our Service Status page to see if there are any planned outages or reported issues in your area.Confirm your router is online
The WAN (globe) light on your Technicolor or Icotera router should be solid green.
If it isn’t, try restarting your router by switching it off for 30 seconds, then back on.
Verify your handset connection
Plug your analogue phone into either Phone 1 or Phone 2 port on the back of the brsk router.
Make sure the phone cable is firmly seated in both the handset and the router.
Use the right equipment
BetterPhone only works with brsk‑supplied routers. If you’ve tried connecting through a third‑party router or VoIP‑specific phone, you won’t get a dial tone.
